TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General Information

1. These Terms and Conditions are for the rental use of hotel rooms for lodging purposes, as well as all other goods and services rendered by the hotel for the customer.
2. The contract shall come into force upon the hotel’s acceptance of the customer’s application. At its discretion, the hotel may confirm the room reservation in writing.
3. Spanhoek boutique hotel rates are inclusive of breakfast but exclude service charge and government tax.
4. Rates vary by room types and tax is subject to change without prior notice.
5. All rates are quoted in Euro but can also be paid in SRD and US Dollar agains actual conversion rate of Central bank of Suriname.

Reservation, cancellation and Availability

1. The reservation is guaranteed under the following conditions: In the case of a Company reservation a letter of guarantee from the company, credit card details of the guest or a cash deposit of at least 1 night.
2. Individual cancellations up to 24 hours before check inn (14.00 hr) are free of charge. For cancellations within 24 hours before check inn or no shows, Spanhoek Boutique Hotel will charge you for the first night.
3. Group cancellations up to one week before check inn (14.00 hr) are free of charge. For cancellations within one week or no shows, Spanhoek Boutique Hotel will charge you for the first night.
4. Cancellations must be done with the confirmation number given by Spanhoek Boutique Hotel.
5. Reserved rooms are available to the customer starting at 14:00 p.m. on the agreed arrival date. The customer does not have the right to earlier availability. Check-in time is 14.00 hr on reservation date; check-out time is 12.00 hrs on check-out date.
6. Rooms must be vacated and made available to the hotel no later than 12:00 noon on the agreed departure date. After that time the hotel may charge 50 percent of the full accommodation rate (rack rate) for the additional use of the room until 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m. a 100 percent charge will apply.
7. Breakfast certificates have no cash value; gratuities are not included. Certificates are not valid after check out or at another hotel. Other restrictions may apply.

Safety

1. As far as parking space is provided to the customer in the hotel parking lot, this does not constitute a safekeeping agreement, even if a fee is exchanged. The hotel assumes no liability for loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked or maneuvered on the hotel’s property, nor its contents.
2. Our rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box. Please use the safety deposit box in your room. Spanhoek Boutique Hotel cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of your personal belongings.

Child policy

When staying with children at Spanhoek Boutique Hotel you may benefit from:

1. Children up to 11 years may share their parent’s room at no extra charge.
2. A Baby cradle is offered free of charge. Please note that the cradle must be requested at time of reservation.
3. Breakfast is complimentary for children under 11 years

All payments can be done in cash (Euro, US$ or SRD). We accept valid Master Card, Visa Card, Maestro Card, Travelers cheque and Bank transfers (Bank details are below)
