In October 2007 Spanhoek boutique Hotel was open for our guests. We affect many people when, for instance, we advise on the location, design standards and local materials for the construction of our hotel, choose local business partners and suppliers, recruit and train our staff and talk with and serve our guests. We are committed to build a strong culture of Spanhoek boutique Hotel and to meet our global obligations as one of Surinam leading boutique hotel business. Following research throughout 2007, we now have a much better understanding of our main risks and opportunities. Our
immediate priorities for action are to conduct a strong marketing management and feedback support for our guests. The
travel and tourism industry in Surinam is coming under increasing pressure due the opening of other hotels in our country. We must address this challenge as a priority.
